White House Heritage High School to host CEMC’s 86th Annual Meeting
Fall is just around the corner, and so is Cumberland Electric Membership Corporation’s 86th Annual Meeting!
This year’s meeting will be held Saturday, Sept. 28, at White House Heritage High School in White House. Members will be admitted at 8 a.m. for registration and voting, and the business session will begin at 10 a.m.
Between times, members are invited to enjoy a complimentary breakfast, browse through the selection of door prizes, visit various informational booths, check out the Youth Corner and enjoy musical entertainment provided by Rising Creek.

Three seats on CEMC’s board of directors will be filled during the meeting. Members will elect directors to fill the North Robertson, South Stewart and North Sumner positions. CEMC’s nominating committee met July 22 and recommended incumbent directors Rodney Swearingen, James (Bryan) Watson and Tommy G. Whittaker for reelection for new three-year terms. Each director is running unopposed.
Early voting will be held Friday, Sept. 27, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at each district office for members who are unable to attend the meeting on Saturday.
