What’s to love about Cheatham County?
Let’s start with the beautiful Cumberland River Bicentennial Trail, a 6.5 mile rails-to-trails conversion with fun for the entire family. If that’s enough to work up an appetite, you can head to the Gyro Café & Grill for lunch. Looking for an afternoon adventure? Visit Mound Bottom, an historic Native American archeological site located along the Harpeth River. Finally, you can end the day at SKYKING Pizza. Delicious!

Top it off with dessert at Thistle Sweets. Need to burn a few calories? Try a trip around the rink at the Ford Ice Skating Center, hiking at the Dunbar Cave State Park, or visit one of the many local parks. There’s a lot to do in Montgomery County!

What’s to love about Robertson County?
How about a round of golf at Pebblebrook? Or enjoying the attractions at Honeysuckle Hills Farm? If nature is more your thing there’s kayaking and canoeing on the Red River or hiking at Port Royal State Park. There are splash pads and pools around, too. Food? We recommend grabbing a steak (or two or more) to grill from Bellhollow Beef or making a visit Best Eats Café. And if your sweet tooth kicks in, it’s then time for Golly G’s Ice Cream.

If you’re asking us, it’s tough to beat the Elk and Bison Prairie at Land Between the Lakes. Fort Donelson National Park and Homeplace 1850s Working Farm are great, too. There’s a lot of pizza to choose from, including Mama Mea’s, Lance’s, and Midway. If you’re in the mood for barbecue (and when aren’t you?), the Redneck Pig is great. The K&S Café has something for everyone.
