About the Small Business Awards

Each year, Cumberland Connect celebrates the local businesses that make our communities feel like home by hosting the Small Business Showcase Awards. The awards put the spotlight on our members’ favorite spots, and the winners take home a CCFiber bill credit too.

Voting for the 2026 Small Business Showcase Awards runs October 13 through November 10. You can submit one ballot per day, so come back often and keep cheering on your favorites! If you don’t see your favorite business listed, you can write in your pick by selecting “My pick isn’t listed” and writing in your favorite. Once we approve it, we will add it to the form for others to vote for, too.

The Small Business Showcase Awards are Cumberland Connect’s fourth annual celebration of the small businesses and organizations in our service territory. The awards lead up to Small Business Saturday on November 28, a great day to shop local and kick off the holiday season.

This year, we’ve made it easier than ever to join in, because nominating and voting now happen in one step. Your ballot has six categories, and you can pick a favorite in as many of them as you’d like. If the business you love isn’t on the list yet, write it in! Once our team confirms it’s eligible, we’ll add it to the ballot so everyone else can vote for it too.

You can submit one ballot per day through November 10. The business with the most votes in each category wins, and every CEMC member who submits a ballot is entered for a chance to win one of five $100 MyBundle streaming credits.

The winning business in each of our six categories will receive a one-time $70 bill credit and a Cumberland Connect swag package.

Every CEMC member who submits a ballot will be entered into a random drawing for 1 of 5 MyBundle streaming credits, which you can use to redeem for your choice of streaming service(s) through MyBundle’s platform.

We’ll announce our six winning businesses and giveaway winners on social media and our website on Thursday, November 12, and we’ll contact winners by email or phone. Click here to read the official giveaway rules.

Any business or organization served electrically by CEMC is eligible to win! Not sure if your favorite qualifies? Write it in anyway. Our team checks every write-in, and eligible businesses will be added to the ballot.
