Connect for a Cause: $22,240 Raised for Local Food Banks

Connect for a Cause has officially come to a close, and we’re proud to share the impact our members helped make across our communities.

Over the course of the campaign, Cumberland Connect subscribers helped raise a total of $22,240 to support local food banks serving families throughout our service area. This initiative was built on a simple idea: for every new Cumberland Connect sign-up, we would donate $20 to help address food insecurity in our local communities. Thanks to an incredible response from our members, that support quickly added up.

The total donation will be distributed evenly among six local organizations, with $3,706.67 being donated to each agency:

  • Gallatin CARES in Gallatin
  • Hands of Hope in Portland
  • Bethesda Center in Ashland City
  • Loaves and Fishes in Clarksville
  • Manna Café in Dover
  • COPE in Springfield

Each of these organizations plays a vital role in providing meals, resources, and support to neighbors in need. We’re grateful for the work they do every day and for the opportunity to support their missions through this campaign.

In the coming weeks, we’ll be coordinating check presentations with each agency and look forward to sharing more about those moments as they take place. We’re especially excited to involve members of our team in these presentations and to highlight the direct impact this campaign has made in the communities we serve.

Thank you to everyone who helped make Connect for a Cause such a meaningful success. This campaign is a reminder of what’s possible when our community comes together to care for one another.
