Small Business
Showcase Awards

Each year, Cumberland Connect celebrates the incredible local businesses throughout our service territory by hosting the Small Business Showcase Awards. These awards help shine the spotlight on our members’ favorite small businesses, and it gives them a chance to win a CCFiber bill credit, too.

Voting is now underway for the 2025 Small Business Showcase Awards! You can vote for as many of your favorite business as you’d like during the voting period, October 24 – November 14.

Cumberland Connect is proud to present the second annual Small Business Showcase Awards – a fun way to highlight and support local small businesses within our service territory. The Small Business Showcase Awards build up to Small Business Saturday on November 29th, which is a fantastic time to shop local and support small businesses during the holiday season.

The idea behind the awards is simple: members can nominate as many of their favorite businesses as they’d like during the nomination period.

Nominated businesses will be separated into categories, and members will then vote for their favorite businesses in each category during the voting period. We will shout-out eligible nominated businesses on our website and social media platforms.

The winning business in each category will also receive an awesome prize – and every CEMC member who nominates at least one business will be entered to win a giveaway!

All eligible nominated businesses will be given recognition on our website and our social media platforms.

The winning businesses in each category will receive a one-time $70 bill credit and a Cumberland Connect Swag Package.

Each CEMC member who nominates at least one business will be entered to win a random drawing for 1 of 5 prize packages containing a Tennessee Cutting Board, an Amazon Firestick, and Cumberland Connect Swag.

The five member winners along with the five winning businesses will be announced on our social media on Friday November 21st. Winners will be contacted via email and/or phone call. Click here to read official giveaway rules.

Nomination Period: September 20 – October 17

During the nomination period, you can nominate as many businesses as you’d like. You must submit a nomination and include your email address on the form to be entered for the random prize drawing!

Voting Period: October 24 – November 14

During the voting period, you can select and vote for as many businesses as you’d like from each category on the form above. Voting will be limited to one form submission per person per day.

Votes Tallied & Random Winners Drawn after Voting Period Ends

We will tally all the votes and draw the random winners after the voting period comes to a close on November 14.

Winners Announced: November 21

We will announce the winners on Cumberland Connect’s social media. We will also update this page to announce this year’s winners! Click here to follow our Facebook page.

Any business that is served electrically by CEMC is eligible to be nominated and win an award! Our team will verify eligibility of each nomination, so feel free to nominate a business even if you aren’t sure.
