Gearing Up for a Great School Year

Back to school season snuck up on all of us this year, but we made sure it didn’t sneak up on local students and teachers too.

Supply Drives and Donations

Over the past few weeks, our team has been all over the five counties we serve, making sure classrooms and backpacks were ready for day one. We helped hand out school supplies at Back to School Bash events in Cheatham and Sumner counties, chipped in supplies for families in Stewart and Robertson counties, and donated supplies while our team volunteered to help sort donations for the Teacher’s Warehouse in Montgomery County.

As Cumberland Heights Elementary’s Partner in Education, we donated 1,000 composition books to their STEM classes this year.. It’s a small thing that adds up to a big stack of notebooks for a school full of future scientists and engineers.

Welcoming Students Back

On the first day of school, our team partnered with United Way to greet students as they walked into Montgomery Central Elementary in Cunningham. We showed up with good energy and words of encouragement to help kick off the school year on the right note, because a great first day sets the tone for a great year.

Community Runs Deep

Whether it’s supplies, notebooks, or just a friendly face on the first morning of school, we believe showing up for local students is part of showing up for our members!
