Tuesday, September 29
10:00 – 11:30 a.m.
CEMC Clarksville Annex Building (1820 Ashland City Rd, Clarksville, TN, 37043)

We’ll start with the basics of streaming TV, including how the major devices and services work, so you can get more out of what you’re already paying for. From there, we’ll move into online safety, covering how to spot common scams and how to pick passwords that actually protect you.

The workshop will also feature hands-on time with some of the most popular streaming TV devices. We’ll have Roku and Fire Stick devices set up so you can try things out yourself rather than just watching someone else click through menus. Our team will be there to answer questions and walk through anything that feels confusing.

This workshop is free to attend and open to all members, even if you aren’t a current Cumberland Connect internet subscriber. If you’re considering a switch, or if you’re helping a parent or loved one get more comfortable with technology, we’d love to have you there too.

Light refreshments and door prizes will be provided. Seating is limited, so we recommend arriving a few minutes early. And if you want to get a head start on streaming, you can check out our free MyBundle tool to help find the perfect streaming solution for your household. And if you can’t make it to Clarksville, don’t worry–we are planning more digital literacy workshops all throughout our service territory. More details to come!

We hope to see you there!
