Building More Than Networks: Partnering to Support our Communities
At Cumberland Connect, we’ve always believed that being a local provider is about more than delivering fast, reliable internet. It’s about investing in the communities we call home. And most importantly—it’s about people.
That’s why CEMC/Cumberland Connect recently teamed up with our trusted fiber contractor, Vonalas, Inc., to give back in a meaningful way. Together, we donated a total of $21,000 to six nonprofit organizations across our service area, each doing powerful, compassionate work to serve those in need.
One of the recipients was YAIPAK Outreach in Clarksville, a remarkable organization dedicated to helping individuals and families experiencing homelessness, poverty, or crisis. Members of our team, along with Frank Glaspie, Vice President of Vonalas, had the honor of presenting a donation in person to support their mission.

In addition to YAIPAK, donations were also made to:
• Hands of Hope
• Highland Rim Economic Corporation
• Gallatin CARES
• COPE of Robertson County
• The Bethesda Center
These organizations are on the front lines—offering food, shelter, clothing, and critical resources to those who need them most. Their work uplifts lives and strengthens the very fabric of our communities.
At the end of the day, our mission isn’t just about building fiber networks—it’s about building trust, connection, and community. We’re proud to stand beside these organizations and grateful for the opportunity to support the incredible work they do.
